Internships, Calendars, and books

Sorry I have not posted in a while. I WOULD say I have been busy, but that is a horridly lame excuse.
Two weeks ago, I went to an Interview at Old Stubridge Village for an internship. Last week I got a letter in the telling me I have been accepted! Well didn't I just dance around the room with overflowing joy!!! I looked a bit odd, but I did. Anyway, I have to finish filling out the form that I got the other day, then send it back. Also, I have to set a date to get my costume. I am sooo excited about this!

New topic...Just today, I got a calendar. Now this is not just ANY old calendar. It has TEA SETS on it! And I know you might be thinking "oh tea sets...that is a bit childish" But it is not. THESE tea sets are fine china with desert trays and things. Absolutely beautiful! The one for February is all whites and purples and greens. Very Elegant. Speaking of teas, I don't think I have said this before, but I am working on a tea scrapbook. I take the packets of the bags from teas I drink, and paste it onto a piece of paper. So I am ending up keeping the tea packages from EVERY tea I drink to see if I have put it on yet or not. Today, I have (so far) added several brands of English Breakfast tea. Now, for the ones that have to packet I think I will just have to take a picture of the box. I am not sure about that yet though.

Right now, I am reading Pride and Prejudice. I think it a very good book. I am however, disgusted with most of Elizabeth's family. Her aunts (for the most part) are very kind but their Mother, Mrs. Bennet seems to be not only blind to the things about her, but does not care for anything except getting her children married. Her father is alright, however her sister Lydia is....well I don't quite no how to describe her but that she is a brat who does not care of anything but her own opinions most of the time. Oh no. I don't doubt she loves her sisters, but she does need to care more about them outwardly. Now, the Bennet's cousin Mr. Collins. OH! What a selfish, conceded person!I am not going to go on about how much I can't stand him for, I just don't have the time. And I am sure you don't want to hear it. I do not object to Mr. Darcy, but he could care more about people and could have payed more attention to things so he did not hurt poor Jane by taking away Mr. Bingley.
Anyway, yes that is part of what I think. (Of course I think a LOT more about it but there is not enough time in a day for me to talk about this book) I am intending to watch the movie again as soon as I finish the book.

Thank you for reading my ramblings if you got all the way to this ending without being thoroughly bored. Please leave a comment about what you thought of this post. I mean come on, they ARE like virtual hugs!! Hehe. Plus, I appreciate hearing your opinions. So thank you again for visiting my little world. And goodbye for now.
