Random post when bored.

As I sit here, chewing on a metal spoon and being bored, I realized I wanted to blog. This is the kind of blog post you get from me when I am bored. Its a bit odd. (dont say I did not warn you!!)

I let the dog out, and I went outside with her. Now, it is dark and there is only a single, weak floodlight, and its still raining a little. I just stood on the deck for a while, looking out into the woods, and listening to the pitter-patter of the rain hitting the trees and leaves and the tarp of the tree house roof. All the different noises and the cool wind blowing and the slight fog..Its beautiful in a mystical way.
You know, I have always loved being outside. When I go camping, it is my favorite thing, because I get to be with my friends, and be outside for about 3 weeks. I love just wandering off into the woods, and listening to all the sounds around me.

Of course, sometimes, when its dark, my imagination gets ahead of me, and I start thinking of wolves, or goblins...Then I start to pretend that there are wolves or goblins and make a genius plan to get away, and then...I hear Mom calling me telling me it is time to come in which, of course ruins the whole fantasy every time. I have always been the kind of girl who goes out with her bow and arrows and makes up an entire story and battle and acts it out. (speaking of that, I need to buy a new target...) I am more the adventure girl than the princess. I actually have a map I drew of a fantasy land that Jenna, and a few friends and I invented.
Anyway, now that we are done (for now) with that bunny trail, back to being outside at night.

When I am outside in the dark, and there is no one around, and I happen to be wearing a skirt, I tend to dance. Or sing. Actually scratch that last one. I sing no matter where I am or what I am wearing! On second thought, back to that bunny trail if you don't mind.
I don't know why I do this, but if I start a story in my head, I go on and on. I used to (and sometimes still do) make up stories in my head before I fall asleep. Actually, I attempted to turn one story I made into a book. To make it in my head took me about 3 months. It was a good story, but I cant remember it now!

Wow. That was a a bit of a random post wasn't it? If you made it all the way through, I thank you for your faith in me that I would not bore you half to death before the end, and I hope I did not. Have a wonderful what-ever-time-of-day-it-is. Go find some rain to dance in..... Its fun. :-)

Chickens and dancing

I have been sick for a while, and I could have written, but there was not much to write about! First, I FINALLY got that second ear piercing! Thank you Dad, for letting me get it!! Also, a few days ago, Dad and I started building the long awaited chicken coop. We have the floor done and when we have the extra money, we will start on the walls and roof. The chicken coop floor happens to look like a stage. So of course, being me, I start singing on it. Later that night, Dad, Jenna and I all went out in the almost complete dark and randomly danced on the "stage". Jenna has begged me a few times to go dance on the "stage" with her. I actually brought out my Laptop and we danced to some songs from YouTube. (I had brought out my Stereo and an extension cord, but apparently she did not like any of my CDs.)

Right now, I am reading Goose Girl, by Shannon Hale. Again. I love her series The Books of Bayern. I could read them again and again. I think when I read those I will read the Harry Potters again although I am not sure. (Thank you to Matante and Uncle Luke for giving The Books of Bayern to me for Christmas.I think it took me less than a week to read them all!)
Anyway, that is all for today because I need to finish school. We are having some friends over tonight so I need to be done. Thanks for reading my ramblings and musings!
